About the Role
Cybersecurity Analysts protect an organisation's systems and data by monitoring threats, assessing vulnerabilities and supporting incident response. The role works across security tools, policies and IT teams to reduce risk. It suits security professionals in Mumbai with hands-on experience in security operations or vulnerability management who want broader exposure to enterprise security.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and investigate suspicious activity
- Run vulnerability scans and track remediation with IT teams
- Support incident response, containment and reporting
- Review firewall, endpoint and access configurations
- Contribute to security policies and awareness programmes
Required Skills and Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in computer science, IT or a related field
- 2+ years in information security
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR or vulnerability scanning tools
- Understanding of networking, Windows and Linux security
- Certifications such as CEH, Security+ or CySA+ are an advantage
Preferred Experience
Experience in BFSI or regulated industries.
