About the Role
Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) Consultants identify and validate security weaknesses in applications, networks and cloud environments. The role combines hands-on testing with clear reporting and remediation guidance. It suits offensive security professionals in Bengaluru who have strong technical depth and can explain findings to technical and business audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform web, mobile, API and network penetration tests
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and validate findings
- Write clear reports with risk ratings and remediation steps
- Retest fixes and support development teams on secure coding
- Stay current with new vulnerabilities and attack techniques
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in computer science, IT or a related field
- 3+ years in penetration testing or VAPT
- Hands-on proficiency with Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit and similar tools
- Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 and network protocols
- Certifications such as OSCP, CEH or eWPT
Preferred Experience
Experience testing cloud environments and BFSI applications.
