Head — Projects (Interior Fit-out)

About the Role

We are hiring a Head of Projects for a commercial interior fit-out and design-build firm, based in Thane or Pune. The role leads the project management team across multiple corporate, commercial and hospitality interior projects, owning delivery, quality, budgets, client relationships and risk. It suits senior fit-out leaders with deep design-and-build experience who can build strong teams and deliver large projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the project management team and oversee delivery of multiple projects at once
• Set project management processes, quality standards and best practices
• Act as senior point of contact for clients and manage expectations through the project lifecycle
• Own project budgets, cost control, profitability tracking and forecasting
• Identify project risks and put mitigation plans in place
• Report status, risks and issues to senior management and stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design or a related field
• 15+ years of experience, with significant leadership in interior fit-out or design-and-build
• Strong knowledge of BOQ, estimation, costing, billing and contracts
• Proven record of managing large-scale projects and teams
• Excellent client management, negotiation and planning skills

Preferred Experience

Leadership of commercial, corporate, hospitality or workspace interior projects.
