Senior Project Manager — Sourcing & Procurement (Interiors)

About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Project Manager for sourcing and procurement in Chennai for a commercial interior fit-out and design-build firm. The role onboards vendors, negotiates pricing and terms, sources materials, furniture, fixtures and equipment, and manages the supply chain so interior projects stay on time, on budget and to specification. It suits professionals with strong vendor networks and experience aligning sourcing with project teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and onboard vendors for materials, furnishings, fixtures and equipment
• Negotiate contracts, pricing and terms to balance cost and quality
• Develop sourcing strategies with project teams, architects and designers
• Manage orders, sample sourcing, tracking, deliveries and inventory
• Run quality inspections of incoming materials and address non-conformities
• Report sourcing status, cost projections and risks to stakeholders and clients

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Graduate in engineering, interior design, supply chain or a related field
• Senior experience in sourcing or procurement for interior or construction projects
• Excellent negotiation, communication and vendor management skills
• Familiarity with sourcing and procurement software
• Ability to motivate site and associate teams and meet tight deadlines

Preferred Experience

Procurement for commercial interior fit-out or design-and-build projects.
