About the Role
The Supply Chain Manager leads planning, procurement coordination, warehousing and distribution to balance service levels with cost and working capital. The role drives demand and supply planning, S&OP and supplier performance. It suits supply chain professionals in Mumbai with broad end-to-end experience who can lead teams and work with sales, finance and operations leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead demand and supply planning and run the monthly S&OP process
- Manage inventory levels, service levels and working capital
- Oversee warehousing, distribution and logistics partners
- Drive cost reduction and process improvement initiatives
- Lead and develop planning and logistics teams
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in engineering or commerce; MBA in operations or supply chain preferred
- 8+ years in supply chain, including team leadership
- Strong understanding of planning, inventory and logistics
- Proficiency in ERP and planning tools; advanced Excel
- Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Experience
Supply chain leadership in FMCG, retail, pharma or consumer durables.
