About the Role
Warehouse Managers in Kolkata run distribution centres serving East India, owning inventory accuracy, dispatch timelines, safety and cost. The role leads supervisors and associates, manages 3PL or in-house teams and drives process improvement through WMS data. It suits experienced warehouse leaders who can manage peak volumes, maintain compliance and build disciplined teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead inbound, storage and outbound operations
- Own inventory accuracy, audits and shrinkage control
- Plan manpower and equipment for regular and peak volumes
- Ensure safety, statutory compliance and 5S standards
- Report KPIs and drive productivity improvements
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Graduate; MBA or supply chain qualification preferred
- 6+ years in warehouse operations, including at least 2 years as manager
- Strong WMS and Excel skills
- Experience managing large teams and contractors
- Bengali and Hindi communication is an advantage
Preferred Experience
Distribution centre leadership in FMCG, retail or 3PL.
